Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the two split modes?
By page ranges gives you exact control - each comma-separated range becomes one output file, so 1-3, 4-6 produces two PDFs. Every N pages simply chops the document into equal chunks, which is handy for breaking up a long report.
How do I extract just one page?
Enter that page number on its own, for example 7. You will get a single-page PDF back directly, without a zip.
Can I use the last page without knowing the page count?
Yes. Use "n" to mean the last page. For example 5-n extracts everything from page 5 to the end.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their resolution. Nothing is re-encoded.
Why did I get a zip file?
Whenever the split produces more than one PDF, they are bundled into a zip so you can download everything in one click. A single output file downloads directly as a PDF.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser and nothing is transmitted or stored.
