Frequently asked questions
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Merging copies the page objects as they are - text stays selectable, images keep their original resolution, and fonts are preserved. Nothing is re-encoded.
How do I control the order?
Files are merged top to bottom in the list shown after you add them. Use the up and down arrows to rearrange, or the × to remove one.
Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
There is no fixed limit. The practical ceiling is your device memory, since every document is held in memory while merging. Merging dozens of large scanned PDFs at once may be slow on a phone.
What happens to bookmarks and form fields?
Page content, text and images transfer faithfully. Document-level features such as bookmarks, form fields and annotations may not survive, because they are attached to the original document structure rather than to individual pages.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then merge. Files that need a password to open cannot be read by this tool.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. Merging happens entirely in your browser. This matters for contracts, invoices and anything confidential.
